JURY A. VIBAR
Managing Partner
Jury is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive exposure to taxation, BIR filing, research, and tax compliance review and report preparation. He also has experience in tax assessment/ litigation support, tax return and financial statement reconciliation, tax planning and advisory.
After graduating in University of the East – Manila with Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in 2015, he took and passed the CPA Licensure Exam in October of the same year. He then joined SyCip, Gorres, Velayo & Company and worked as a Tax Associate for 3 years. Thereafter he took on the role of Tax Specialist in Cebu Pacific until July 2020.
He is currently the Managing Partner of Vibar, Peña and Associates, serving clients in various industries such as food and beverage, business process outsourcing, cargo shipping, transportation and travel, consumer goods wholesale and retail.
LIZABETH T. PEÑA
Partner
Liz is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Board of Accountancy (BOA) and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) accredited practitioner with in-depth and up to date knowledge and experience in Philippine national and local tax compliance and international accounting standards. She has exposure in tax planning and studies to legally defer or minimize tax payments. Her experience also include transactions with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bureau of Customs (BOC), and Local Government Unit (LGU).
In 2015, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of the East – Manila with Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. After passing the CPA board examination in October of the same year, she joined SyCip, Gorres, Velayo & Company where she worked as a Tax Associate for two years and was later on promoted as a Senior Tax Associate. A year after, she transferred to DDT Konstract, Inc. as a Tax Supervisor until 2020.
She is now one of the founding partners of Vibar Peña & Associates where she handles tax, accounting, and audit concerns of their individual and corporate clients from various industries.
